The CS5530A-UCE companion device is designed to work in conjunction with an AMD Geode GX1 processor. Together, the Geode GX1 processor and CS5530A-UCE companion device provide a system-level solution well suited for the high performance needs of a host of devices which include digital set-top boxes and thin client devices. The device is a PCI-to-ISA bridge (South Bridge), ACPIcompliant chipset that provides AT/ISA style functionality.
